Agfa Radiology Solutions  is proud to announce the first installation of our DR 800 in Brazil! This multipurpose solution—combining digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and dynamic imaging—is now enhancing workflow and efficiency at one of the country’s most respected public hospitals.

The installation took place at Hospital das Clínicas of UFMG in Belo Horizonte, MG. Founded in 1928, HC-UFMG is Brazil’s oldest university hospital, known for its 100% commitment to free public care, with 465 beds and a national reputation for medium and high-complexity treatments. It is also a leader in medical education, research, and innovation.

Operated by EBSERH (Brazilian Hospital Services Company) since 2014, HC-UFMG is part of Brazil’s largest public hospital network, managed by the Ministry of Education. EBSERH supports 45 federal university hospitals, driving infrastructure modernization, improved patient care, and the integration of healthcare and education.

This installation is the first of 8 DR 800 units purchased by EBSERH. The remaining systems will be installed in other leading Public University Hospitals across Brazil in the coming months.
