Modern Slavery Statement – 2026 Annual Statement

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps taken by Agfa HealthCare UK Limited during year ending 31 December 2026 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.

 

Introduction

Agfa HealthCare UK Limited (Agfa) has a zero tolerance approach to Modern Slavery of any kind, whether it be from within our own operations or through our supply chain. All staff are expected to report any concerns, using the appropriate reporting channels. Agfa will investigate and take seriously any allegations that human rights are not properly respected.

Agfa HealthCare UK Limited is part of the Agfa-Gevaert Group.

 

Our business

Agfa NV is an OEM and supplier of medical imaging equipment to both the human and animal market. This includes, both Computed Radiography and Digital Radiography solutions, digitizers, film and other consumable products and services business. Agfa HealthCare UK Limited supplies medical imaging equipment and associated consumables, as well as providing after sales support to the UK market.

 

Policies and contractual controls

Agfa’s policies detail our commitment to acting ethically and partnering with organisations that share that vision and can demonstrate compliance. These policies include our Code of Conduct and Ethical Policy Statement (as integrated into the Agfa-Gevaert Corporate Governance Charter), the Health, Safety and Environment Policy, and the Code of Conduct for Agfa Suppliers, Distributors and Agents. Furthermore, Agfa also submits to the EICC (Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition) Code of Conduct.

 

All of our suppliers are required to comply with our Code of Conduct, which includes (but is not limited to) the following:

  • Comply fully with all applicable laws
  • Respect workers’ human rights
  • To refuse to tolerate any unacceptable treatment of employees
  • To provide fair remuneration and to guarantee the applicable national statutory minimum wage
  • To respect the personal dignity, privacy and rights of each individual
  • To refuse to employ or make anyone work against his will
  • To comply with the maximum number of working hours laid down in the applicable law
  • Prohibition of child labour

 

In accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, Agfa will continue to monitor and improve our processes to ensure transparency within the organisation and of those organisations which supply goods and services to Agfa.
