‘One image is all it takes’: At SIRM 2024, Agfa Radiology Solutions highlights intelligent technology to make every image count

At Italy’s 51st SIRM Congress, in June 2024, Agfa Radiology Solutions will share how its comprehensive portfolio supports “The Next Generation” in radiology, by using intelligent and innovative technology to ensure every X-ray image counts. With accurate and high-quality diagnostic information from the first image taken, retakes are reduced, speeding up workflows and enhancing the experience of radiologist, radiographer and patient.

“At SIRM 2024, radiology and healthcare stakeholders can discover how we use pioneering technologies to deliver the answers radiologists, radiographers and patients need – with a focus on making every image taken on an Agfa system count. When the examination offers the information that the radiologist needs for confident diagnosis, retakes and referrals to other modalities are reduced. The radiographer’s workflow is smoother, diagnosis is more confident and the patient receives less radiation – which is an important outcome for everyone,” says Hans Bossink, Head of EMEA at Agfa Radiology Solutions.

“Radiology departments in Italy are under ever-increasing pressure, faced with growing demand for diagnostic imaging, and we are committed to helping our customers overcome these challenges. The theme of this year’s SIRM Congress is ‘The Next Generation’. We are already delivering on this, with a comprehensive portfolio that meets the needs of every hospital, complemented with AI-driven technologies and innovations for image processing and workflow assistance. We will be delighted to show visitors to SIRM how our SmartXR®, ScanXR and MUSICA® portfolios can support them,” says Paola Oriana di Salvia, Sales Manager Agfa Radiology Solutions Italy.
